Sasuke says nothing at first to stir the silence. And yet the breathing of the living is somehow so much louder than the dead can ever hope to be, when his face appears near Obito's misty frown on the other side of a translucent shower curtain. Obito watches the boy and shows all the emotion that Sasuke cannot, will not. Obito's face scrunches in confusion, amusement. He's very young, but Sasuke. Sasuke's face has been swept blank by years of Itachi's careful grooming. Sasuke only shows what he feels he should and not what he feels, which makes him difficult to read when it all passes as bored indifference on the best of days
