Where: Some abandoned buildings, away from ~civilization~
Summary: Cross might be new, but even he has assets to protect. Confronting She-Hulk seemed like a good idea to keep them secure.
Warnings: Violence. A lot of it. And physical mutation/gory stuff later on.

[ She-Hulk had dealt with situations like this before. with S.H.I.E.L.D., with the government, with H.Y.D.R.A.. she could smell that something was up, at least, something she should be worried about. whoever this guy was, she didn't trust him. she never trusted a man in a uniform.

however, it was easier to play off like she didn't know what was going on. which was why she was approaching the building, hands running through her hair and pushing it up around her face like she was some sort of pin-up model, humming Hotel California. ]

[ it was hard to miss her as she approached. Cross' arms were behind him, a more or less neutral stance. at least he didn't look ready to tackle her to the ground. not yet, anyway.

when she spoke his name and title, he gave her a nod, but didn't speak up initially. obviously this guy lived in the military. nothing was casual about this man. all business. ] Yes, that's right. I don't believe I got your name.

[ the smile never left her lips as she looked him over, taking in his appearance. wary? most definitely. ]

...Noted. [ the odd things people called themselves in this place... Cross chalked it up to some weird set of code names or something. but that didn't matter. he was going to dive straight into this. ]
