Following what had seemed like a week straight of rot, Alois had found himself needing to both spend and accumulate. There was nothing quite like buying something he didn't actually need for too high a price, and it was simultaneously cathartic and exhilarating. His closet had been steadily draining away in order to add to his personal funds, but he seemed to be ready to fill it back up, and there were things to look at and gush over and criticize and Ciel was there and he looked brilliant today and that was theraputic.

...Ciel's ice cream had just been a bonus.

A sigh naturally escaped him as he found himself dragged by the wrist, expression permanently set to look displeased. Wherever they were headed, Ciel was sure it wouldn't be fun. It couldn't be. Not when his feet were already hurting and he was already tired from walking about all day.

"Hear what? Where are we going?"
