Simply marvelous. Bra-vo! I've never seen anything liiiiiiiike it!
[ There's a figure, clinging improbably to the top of a lamp post, silhouetted against the moon. A moment later, it drops down, a swirl of coattails and long hair. ]
I don't mean the monster ~killing~ of course! Anyone can do that!
But... you... EAT them! Raw! How disgusting! And how delightful, ahahahahhahaa~!

Grell is hardly a welcome site. Ulquiorra's memories of their previous conversations is lacking at best. Trash and annoying are words that instantly come to mind as their eyes meet. He'd probably regret later not stepping into soindo and leaving while he could.]
As horrible as they look and taste, they do provide nourishment.
[There was nothing delightful about it, at least not with the dry and emotionless tone that he spoke with.]

But it's not just the flesh you're eating, ahahahaha...
[ Grell sees what you did there! ]
OOooOOOoooh~! You're more than just a pretty face....
[ A conspiratorial stage whisper ]
You're a demon!

Tch'. Do not associate me with trash like that.

"Getting out your frustrations, Cuarto?" he asked mildly. "I would not have pegged you for one to lament the loss of 'trash'."

"Their disappearance is unfortunate, but it does not change what is to come. All of us must be prepared." He explained, taking the chance to comment openly on Ichigo's disappearance. Ulquiorra would never openly admit to feeling anything over the entire ordeal. He was unnecessarily brutal many times over the course of his life as a hollow, especially when it came to killing things weaker than himself.

"I'm curious... what do you feel our chances are in this situation, knowing what you do of our future on our own world?"

He peeked his head out from behind a mailbox, careful to act as timid as a child caught out after dark should. "Wow, mister...you're really strong."

"She's not anywhere in Siren's Port," replied Phibrizzo, following the strange man with the bone...helmet? No, if he wasn't mistaken, it was attached to his body. Being the controller of death in his own universe gave him an affinity for the dead in general. Even without seeing the man cutting the monsters as easily as if they were paper, he could sense his power. He could also sense that he was not alive in the conventional sense. Then there was his diet. Which only made the diminuitive Hellmaster want answers even more.
"My father's not around, either."
He took a few steps closer.

When Phibrizzo stepped closer, Ulquiorra turned and stared the small child intently in his eyes. His spiritual energy was different than a human's too, stronger, but it was the way it flowed did not match the shape in front of him.
"What are you?" His eyes narrowed as his fingers steadied on the hilt of his sword.

Tonight was a little different. Ulquiorra's presence was finally felt by her and she followed it around the corner, spotting him walking towards her. She took off one of her earbuds and clipped it to her coat. "Out late, Ulquiorra?" She gave him a slight smile.

The look on his face at her greeting was neither empty or pleased. Minako was perceptive, like Orihime, and he looks away quickly in hopes of not giving her to chance to notice that something is wrong.
"You're help is not required in this Sector tonight." He said as he continued on down the road and hoped that Minako would take his advice.

"I'm surprised you're out here," she said gently, turning off her player at last. She slipped the other earclip down onto her shirt. Ulquiorra normally stuck to other sections of the city, just as she did. It would be odd if he came out here for the same reason she did.
"Are you all right?"
