Oddly enough, Undertaker rarely had people over for tea and cake. Not because he didn't invite them, but rather, they didn't accept said invitations. He was known in his closer circle as a more than slightly touched and disturbing fellow. And when those circles whispered to other circles, it got around pretty quickly as to the type of man is was. Though, with only the name to match his profession, and the sort of profession it was, it's presumed that he wasn't exactly be normal ( ... )

"Pardon the intrusion~♥"

Heading towards where the Undertaker's head had appeared to greet him, Urahara took in the atmosphere of this place. Despite the differences, there was a strangely nostalgic sense. Work in progress everywhere, clutter, the smell of chemicals and sweets (although the chemicals he used seemed to be different than what was here).

And as he got closer to his host, he sensed something else interesting.

Holding out the flowers before him, he entered the kitchen. "Please accept these with my thanks for having me over!"

"Ooooh~~ You shouldn't haave~" The man can't keep his giggles in as he trotted over and took the flowers with spindly fingers tipped with long black nails. How funny that the man before him has his hair shielding his eyes, just like Undertaker himself. In this world, it seems like birds of a feather flock together easily. Turning, he strides into the kitchen to put the flowers on the table. There's already a plate of cookies there waiting. They're the ossi di morti, as they had to be prepared in advance. There's a pot of tea too, or rather, a kettle. An two beakers.

He's broken his tea cups.

"Truly is it nice to have guests~" Undertaker gives a sweeping motion of his hand toward the second chair at the table.

"No trouble at all~!" At least the man seemed pleased with receiving flowers as a gift!

Urahara's eyebrow rose in interest as he saw the table setting. (He couldn't help but think of little Ururu-chan, who would be heart-broken if tea had to have been served in beakers. Ah, but, nostalgia didn't become him, so he put that thought aside.)

Placing his cane concealing Benihime over the back of the offered chair he took a seat.

"It's a pleasure to be invited! I can't remember the last time I went out for tea."
Without taking one yet, he pointed out the plate of cookies. "I take it these are the 'ossi di morit'?"

Strange that the man rose an eyebrow the the table setting, but not to the blatantly morbid scene of an undertaker's home around him. But there was no minding in Undertaker himself, as he was busy peeking into the oven. There was something strange and yet familiar about this man, and when he stood, he took a long moment to stare at Urahara. His eyes then fell to the cane looking piece that was draped over his chair. There was something coming from it, a power, and it intrigued him greatly.

His thoughts were pulled away by the question. A fit of giggles feel from his lips as he moved to the table, snatching up one of the hard biscuits. The tea was poured into the two small beakers with flourishing hands.

"Yes yes~ they're an italian tea cookie made for the day of the dead ceremony~"
