Of course it wouldn't be long, with a cotton candy creeper haunting the house. Szayel gracefully slid into the room, raising an eyebrow at the already prepared tea, before assuming his usual place.

Aren't you glad he's here?

Ulquiorra though he would be the last to arrive. The moment Aizen's spiritual energy went missing he left the safety of Nueva Las Noches and begun investigating every possible area of Siren's Port for any linger trace of their Master. Of course, not being able to feel Azien's spiritual energy meant that he had without a doubt found a way to escape Siren's Port.

He expected to be the last Espada to return to Nueva Las Noches, though he was hardly surprised to see Luppi and Grimmjow absent from the table when he entered the kitchen. His eyes shifted past Szayel and towards Nelliel as he took his place at the table.

Yeah, he was late. So what? He'd stopped to give the network a quick check, just to see if anyone else had been paying as much attention to the shinigami as they had been. If the non-reaction were anything to go by, then no. No one had. Just them versus them, if looked like, unless Kurosaki couldn't keep his ass out of their way.

The thought hadn't exactly left him in a good mood, so it was a sour-faced Sexta that stopped into the meeting room not long after Ulquiorra and dropped down into his customary seat despite the fact that there were enough empty spots that they could have taken their pick.

Old habits died hard. "Are we gonna start or what?"

"We'll wait another couple of minutes for Luppi to arrive," said Nelliel. "I would rather not have to repeat myself."

At the same time, she wasn't willing to wait for too long. He knew what the reason for the meeting was and was perfectly capable of using sonido. If Luppi was going to be casual about this situation, he would find himself with the bulk of the annoying and tedious chores assigned to him for the next while. Still, if he had been bathing when she made her announcement, Nelliel did want him to show up to the meeting clothed. Two to three more minutes seemed like a reasonable compromise.

Luppi finally made his way to the meeting room. He didn't have a good excuse for being the last one to arrive; he just didn't see any need to hurry. Some Shinigami were going to come attack. They would fight them. Did they really need a meeting to go over that? Although if he had thought of it, he would have pretended that Nelliel caught him in the shower - not because he cared what the others thought of him being late, but because it would have been the perfect reason to wear a loose robe and then not sit with proper care for the fact that he was wearing a loose robe.

Luppi casually walked into the room and sat down in an empty chair, ignoring any glances turned his way in disapproval. He smiled innocently, "You can start whenever you're ready, Nelliel-sama."
