Grell waited at the coffeehouse, clad against the weather in a crimson, heavily hooded cloak. It was difficult not to think of another date, that had started much like this one. Well - it wasn't a date. Hadn't started that way, at least. The magical mistletoe had complicated things. How long ago had it been? Six weeks. A mere six weeks since that day, in the coffeehouse, where it really all began.

And how long since it had ended? No! No - there would be no counting of the days.

Sanji arrived a little early, twirling a lily between his fingertips. He was smartly dressed for such a "casual" date. Grell, of course, would do that signature Death God trick: manifesting behind him, seemingly out of thin air, and purring in his ear.

"Good evening. Sanji, I believe? I'm Grell."

Sanji lit up happily with a shiver at the voice behind him, not even caring that it sounded even more deep in person. "Ahhh~ sneaky trick, Madame Grell, sneaking up on me like that..."

He turned, already presenting the lily, but hesitated. Something about the light, maybe, which was fading fast. He couldn't be sure that was a shapely woman under the cloak. Nah, it was just the cloak. They always concealed all the nice bits, stupid cloaks. "...uh. I hope you don't mind a small favor from me?" He flicked his wrist to bring the flower up between two fingers and offer it.

A gloved hand reached out from the folds of the heavy cloak, and took the flower daintily.

"Mmmm, not at all. Thank you, kindly. And, just so you know - I'm not at all 'sneaky.' I simply like to make an entrance!"

Grell made sure to keep the hood lowered, just so; but if Sanji were to look hard, he might be able to see a pair of unearthly green eyes gazing at him out of the shadows.

Green eyes and a hint of red hair - Sanji was definitely willing to overlook the voice timbre for now if she was really that hot under there. "And what an entrance it was," he chuckled suavely. The distant sound of sirens didn't even make him flinch. "I trust it isn't too late for tea. I've heard good things about this place, I've meant to try it out for months."
