[Edgeworth has his collar turned up to the cold, his hands in his pockets, and his shoulders hunched. For once, it's not a Newcomer he's going to visit at Skye; rather, it's someone who was injured in a completely unrelated case. And yet, given the number of casualties among them - he has no doubt that he'll run into someone he knows. Perhaps someone he didn't even know was here. That was the way things worked.

He walked with his head down, shoulders squared, pace quick - and he nearly walked right into Jomy Marquis Shin.

He looked up to apologize, and then blinked.]

Ah - Mr. Shin...?

[ He's gotten to the point of committing the necessary directions to memory and putting his NV away when Edgeworth seems to show up in his sphere of awareness. Crushing the instinct to take a step backward, he holds his ground, forcing his eyes upward. There's really no mistaking who that mind belongs to, but there's still enough surprise left over for him to blink back in a way of response. ]

Edgeworth. Hello. [ A beat. ] I'm sorry, am I in your way?

Ah - no.

[Well. That is not altogether truthful. Edgeworth grimaces self-consciously and corrects himself:]

Ah, that is...After a manner of speaking, but - do not concern yourself. Are you all right?

Yes, I'm fine.

[ He's getting there. Though, that's a question he wants to ask Edgeworth himself. People came to Skye for only one reason. Usually. ]

And yourself? Were you - are you - ill? [ Sliding a step to the side, making way into the building. Not going to hold him up if that's the case. ]
