Maya opened the door right away, almost as if she'd been waiting by it. "Siiiiiis!"

Rather than hugging her off the bat (which she probably would have done if Mia wasn't holding onto something), Maya settled for clasping her hands together and bowing her head. That was her usual greeting. She'd wait until Mia put her groceries down for the hug.

"Siiis!"

Despite everything, she found herself feeling excited. Baking was something they'd done quite often when she was younger - and her heart ached a little with nostalgia as she thought about it. This was still a little weird to her, but...

What better way to celebrate the stupid cast finally coming off then baking with her sister?

"Ah, come in! Mr. Godot's not here right now. I told him he's not allowed to come back until we're done!"

Mia raised an eyebrow. "He's not allowed to come back to his own apartment?" She shut the door behind her with her foot and started for the kitchen to set her bag down.

And naturally, as soon as Mia set her bag down, she was assaulted with a hug. "Have you been in here before, sis? Do you want the tour?"
