[There's always a tiny part of Gin that seems surprised when he finds Aizen in the cottage. He doesn't recognize it, of course, but its visible in the upward tilt both brows get, and the genuine, vague smile that seeps into the usual grin Gin wears.]
[It isn't shame that lowers Gin's head, but he can't help but feel some regret for the things he said to Re-l about how Aizen wouldn't come for him, and then the further skepticism Gin held when, despite anything he said, Aizen held firm in his conviction about Gin's release.]
[And, sure enough, on his day of release, even without prior warning, the other man is waiting with a warm welcome.]
Somethin' I can eat while soakin', maybe? I - a bath is what I want. And fresh clothes. [He's wearing what he was arrested in, after all.]
