Summary: The last of Gin's prison interactions. (It's about time he's exposed to people that aren't officers or inmates, right?)

[Since she couldn't see over the top of the table while sitting in the chair provided for her, Yachiru had climbed up onto the table and was sitting patiently while she waited for Ichimaru.

Well, almost patiently. All right, she wasn't patient at all, she just had enough candy to keep her from getting too bored while Ichimaru took his sweet time in getting out to see her. Really, didn't he know it was bad manners to keep someone waiting? Maybe they'd teach him how to behave better while he was in this place!

When he appeared, she waved a sticky hand at him, cheerfully calling out her greeting, ignoring the handset to the side.]

Hi, Squinty!

[Even with the glass between them, it's almost like Gin can hear Yachiru's voice perfectly as she mouths the words.]

[Ahh...]

[-well, might as well get on with it. Gin picks up his side's phone and puts it to his ear. She'll follow suit, right?]

[Yachiru just shakes her head at Ichimaru's bad manners.]

I came all this way to see you! And you're just going to talk on the phone? That's really rude! I knew you weren't a nice guy, but it that's really mean! It was a really long walk to get here!!

[Annnd... now she's lost him. There's only so much Yachiru lip reading that Gin can manage, after all.]

Yachiru-chan, you've gotta pick up the phone if ya want me to hear ya.

[Re-l's down on Tuesday early with two cups of tea, bringing one to him. He's allowed to have that much while he's waiting. A clip of the news is in her pocket as well. She meets Gin briefly, handing him the cup.]

[Oho~ Tea! What a treat! Gin takes the cup with a nod of thanks, and, given his otherwise normal morning, he seems in a content enough mood.]

Two more days until the day, mm? [Thursday's supposed to be Gin's arraignment, but privately, between the two of them, the last Gin heard, it'd be the day that he'd get to leave. It'd be under AGI's rule, of course, but it'd be better than nothing.]

[She sips from her tea, trying to keep the sullen bite out of her voice. She has to tell him, but there's no...social form for this. She hates being the bearer of bad news.]

No, not yet. Is it normal that I'm waitin'? Maybe they decided to go home instead...

[Maya's seen his man a couple of times over the network. She doesn't know him at all. Only she knows is that Ms. Mayer knows him... he's from the same world as the "shinigami" and the "Arrancar", and that he freed Grimmjow.]

[It's for the last reason that she's here, looking at him a little awkwardly. He probably has no idea who she is]

[There's nothing about her that Gin recognizes. Her voice, her looks - nothing.]

This'll come off as a horrible introduction, but... do I know you? You might have the wrong inmate~

[Minato had read about Gin's incarceration on the news shortly after arrival in the city, but hadn't given much thought to the name and the details surrounding the arrest until after his run-in with Aizen a few days later.

The former pupil.

He was curious as to why a specific mention was given to introduce himself to this man, of course, but he had agreed to say hello if the chance arose and what kind of man would he be if didn't follow through?

So there he sat on the other side of the glass, smiling warmly and pointing to the phone on Gin's side as he picked up the receiver on his own end.]

I apologize for introducing myself under such circumstances, but I had quite an interesting conversation with Aizen-san the other evening and he seemed to encourage a meeting between us.

Minato, it's a pleasure.

[An unfamiliar face, but Gin was hardly given the choice of who was seeing him. The offered introduction is well received, and he listens without word once he puts the phone to his ear.]

-ahh, I should be apologizin' fer the circumstances. Havin' to come meet me in prison - what kind of judgment are ya passin', I wonder?

I'm Gin, but I'm sure yer already aware of that.

I'll let you know once I learn a little more about the law here and what exactly this entails.

[Light banter, he really didn't have much of an opinion either way. At least, not yet.]

Though if you don't mind, I'm a little curious as to why you're here.

They say I helped a friend escape from this very prison. I guess they wouldn't be so upset if he hadn't of gone an' killed someone. Ah well.

-of course, I haven't pleaded either way, so don't take that as my stance.

What did you talk about with Aizen?

[Since learning that the prison was populated with Voids who sealed the power of anyone that entered, Ichigo has been loathe to get anywhere near it. He's going to be powerless soon enough, he doesn't want to hasten the experience. But Gin's permitted visitors, and he's been dealing with it from the moment of his incarceration. Ichigo can do no less.

He isn't sure how Gin's going to react when he sees him, if he's even going to want to talk to him, but he has to make the attempt. And he wants to know that the other shinigami's all right.]
