She hadn't bothered with having an actual dinner yet. Oh, she could pack a ton of food away if she really wanted to, but she didn't want to risk spoiling her appetite just in case she managed to make something edible. So she'd just been snacking periodically throughout the afternoon.

Kisuke's presence for the lesson wasn't something that she figured would disrupt anything. In fact, it might keep Kisuke more sane; the silly man could get a little insecure about things like the possibility of her being interested enough in other men to actually do something about it. She didn't know why, really. Surely he knew better.

She opened the door with a smile, and gestured for Kia to enter. "Hi. C'mon in."

In all honesty, she didn't care whether he bothered to take his shoes off or not. The finer points of etiquette weren't anything she ever paid attention to unless it was necessary.

Engrossed with fiddling with some little bits of the toys he'd received, Kisuke barely registered that the doorbell had rung. What he did register was Yoruichi-san greeting someone and welcoming them inside. Putting down the piece he'd been threading a wire through he idly scratched his head underneath his hat while looking over the bits scattered over the table.

Someone coming over? He was sure she'd mentioned it then. Picking up a tiny screwdriver he searched for the screws. Mmm. Mmm.

Oh, yes. Kia, coming to give Yoruichi-san cooking lessons! Pleased he'd remembered, he took up a tiny screw and delicately fitted it into the piece with the wire.

Perhaps that was why he'd felt like doing this work in the kitchen? ...No, it was because of the better light, surely.

Kia'd had a little bit of food earlier, but not too much. He hoped they'd make something at least decent tonight and be able to eat it without trouble. And if nothing else, he could nibble at things while they were cooking.

"Alright. Did you buy ingredients for one of the recipes?" he asked as he stepped inside, leaned down, and untied his boots so he could taken them off. The knee-high combat boots were still one of his favorite things he'd arrived with from home, since they were comfortable and durable as hell.

He absently hoped neither of them would have any really strong emotions to pick up on even without contact; that could be a complication.

"Yeah, everything's set up in the kitchen." She shrugged. "It'll be pretty close quarters in there, especially with three people, but we ought to be able to manage. Kisuke's just fiddling with something on the table at the moment."

She motioned for him to follow as she made her way to the kitchen. Her apartment was far from a disaster, but it definitely had that lived-in look to it. Especially since Kisuke had moved in yesterday; space was a bit more at a premium. Once her infiltration of SERO was in full swing, she might look into a bigger place. No reason not to take advantage of the better paycheque while she had it, really.

Yoruichi grinned when she saw Kisuke still tinkering with something at the table and gave him a playful nudge on the shoulder. "Hey there, Captain Spacecase. Did you manage to remember, I wonder?"

"Oi~" He said plaintively, shifting to keep the screwdriver in place when she nudged him. With a final firm twist he looked up and smiled at her.

"Yes, I did, my Lady~♥" Just now, but that was beside the point. Putting the part down he gave the young man a smile and a nod. "A pleasure to meet you, Kia-san♪"
