Since she'd been expecting him, Yoruichi had been able to sense Kisuke's approach in spite of his continued suppression of his reiatsu. The fact that he opted for the balcony door didn't surprise her, either. Why do anything in straightforward fashion? That wasn't his way, and often wasn't hers, either.

She slid the door open for him. "Well, hurry up and get in here. I don't need to let the wind cooling things off too much."

It was a minor concern, really. Far more important was the content of this meeting. Somehow, back home, Aizen had been defeated. Whatever weakness had been exploited, they needed to know about it. Any information that could help them all deal with him was vital.

Scooting inside as ordered, Kisuke took off the long black coat he'd acquired and draped it over a nearby chair.

"I might actually have to get boots," he complained glumly, wiggling his bare toes in the geta.

She shook her head as she closed the door. "Boots for cold weather. Who'd have thunk it?"

At least he'd had enough sense to get himself a decent coat. What was it with genius types and being idiots? It seemed to be such a common thing, and Yoruichi couldn't figure it out for the life of her. Of course, Kisuke wouldn't be half as much fun if he weren't an idiot, so it all worked out in the end.

Still, she couldn't resist the little jab at his expense. "A little cold shouldn't bother you; your toes are tougher than that."

"Mmm, you think so?" He gave them a contemplative frown and another wiggle. "You're right, of course♪ Your training was most through~"

Taking off his geta he stepped further into the room and looked around.
"Lovely place, Yoruichi-san~! You haven't been here long but have already moved up to a home like this! Well done~"

As he chatted he moved about, peering into the drawers along the wall. Finding nothing too interesting there he wandered casually over to the next room which happened to be the bedroom.

"Ah, yes, very comfortable. Nice and bright~" he idly pulled open the closet. Her uniform for the cafe (with the tragically long skirt) was there, as well as---

She just gave him a flat look at all of the compliments. Either he was too easily impressed, or he was just trying to butter her up. Knowing Kisuke, her bets were on the latter.

Of course he would just start snooping around, wouldn't he? Not that she had anything to hide from him, but it was kind of annoying. He didn't even have to good grace to try and disguise the fact that he was doing it. Or at least to disguise that he was heading straight into her bedroom and opening up the closet as though he owned it.

With a roll of her eyes, Yoruichi followed him into the bedroom and found him distractedly scanning her clothes. Wait, was he looking at . . .

She punched him in the side of the head. "Have you forgotten that you're here for a serious reason?"

Folding her arms, she waited for the inevitable pouting to begin.
