If Ciel's smile was calm, Alois' was the picture of brightness; if Ciel was welcoming, Alois was inviting. He went so far as to spread his arms in greeting, even. Dressed in purple against Ciel's blue, he stood about a head taller than the other boy (the ... heels of his boots helped a bit, admittedly), and to describe him as chirping wasn't really inaccurate.

"Welcome!" he echoed, eyes curved with his smile. "It's very nice to see you all. I'm Earl Alois Trancy."

...Because it's not just Ciel's household, you know.

Alois took the offered hand gladly - he'd enjoyed their meeting, actually; he'd liked Vincent. "We have! Well, look at us now. How do you think of it?"

DINNER THREAD?

[The table is adorned with silverware and china plates, roasted chickens, fancy cooked legumes and wine bottles. On the plates everyone's been served their food and poured a glass of white or red wine, depending on their preference. The food on the table is there in case anyone wishes for seconds. They may request to be served or help themselves.

There's also a fantastic dessert that's carried out at the end of dinner - Gilbert's lemon meringue pie as a appetizer and then an assortment of chocolate cakes and shortbread cookies shaped like Christmas trees. If there's one thing that's certain, it's that the guests should be quite satisfied and filled by the end of it.]

[Well at the moment, he's in the nursery room made for the cats. He had taken Leo as well (stfu Elliot, he's good with cats he'll take care of him), having had set the three cats down as they begin to sniff about and explore the new room.]

This is your new room! It's nice of them, isn't it? [he crouches down, petting Tulip as he begins to rub against his leg.] I think Ada would have loved this too.

[He glances back, before smiling.] His allergies, huh? With Gil being afraid of them, seems like something they could agree on.

[He watches as Tulip has his attention on Alois now, the feline just watching curiously. Meanwhile both Daisy and Leo have taken up to playing with one another.]

Ciel would probably turn blue. Gilbert's funny, though. He really is scared of them? [Alois is crouching, and reaching his hand out, rubbing his fingers together to interest the cat, who pads a little closer.]

[Certainly after dinner time, Elliot went off to find his own haven within this estate. Ciel told him there was a piano and a library on the first floor. He might like it here more than he thought. Glancing in through the doors that would look like something other than a bedroom, he found the music room.

Walking in, he sat himself at the bench as he ran fingers over the smooth ivory and ebony keys. It didn't take long before he began playing a simple tune to entertain himself that might be heard throughout a portion of the house hold.]

[He isn't really paying attention to anyone who enters. Rather, he doesn't take notice. Instead, he'll lead into more of an upbeat tune with his fingers working frantically across the keys. And with every small mistake he made, his brow furrowed with eyes closed. If you startle him, Gil.. He'll smack you.]

[Vincent's not the only one who's attempted to find some peace and quiet after the rather eventful dinner. Spotting the blond man playing chess by himself earns a quirked eyebrow before Ciel takes a few steps inside, arms at his sides.]

Does he? [Amused he moves closer.] I do. It's my favourite, although I haven't been able to play very much since my arrival here.
