Mayuri had given orders to one of the semi-competent men that had been given to him to work in his lab. Though to say the least all of them had already been modified by Mayuri and would make good explosives should he deem that they were ever leaking information or if there were an intruder. It didn't take him long to get from the Sero building to the starter apartments, which had served as his lab for the first two weeks he had arrived at Sirens Port, in fact with his approach you could see several animals and people flee familiar with the spirit energy that approached.

Arriving Mayuri stopped just in front of his lieutenant, looking up towards the apartments and then back down at his 'daughter'. "What have you learned about the core?"

She felt him before she saw him, his familiar reiatsu easy for her to spot having spent her entire life in his presence.

The smile still remained, as she watched him approach her. Respectfully, she bowed to him, before replying.

"I could not find more information aside from what the Greeter spoke of. The Core is the energy source that has brought and bound us to this world."

"Che, it is currently located beneath the field where you arrived." Mayuri was slightly annoyed with Nemu's lack of results, but at the same time the scientist was in a more generous mood with his new equipment and the fact that she was now here and he would be able to retrieve several drugs that he was working on as well as having a secure location for storing several others. "How many others were there present?"

Mayuri had tried bribing some of the security detail but to no avail, he had stil yet to get an opportunity to examine the core and while he had thought about simple killing them the matter of the void adding an unknown factor. He wondered if there were a void present whether Nemu would be able to function as well or if she would be affected by such a thing having been artificially created.

"I didn't sense it when I arrived," she explained. "It might be shielded in order for its presence to be hidden. Its power would be sought by everyone. If it was easy to find, then it would have been located by now."

"I arrived alone. Only the Greeter was present." She looked at him, wanting to ask if he had arrived alone as well, even more importantly, when had he been pulled to this place?
