the only thing Apollo offers in response is a quiet, fearful whine, breathing becoming heavier, hands trembling, and clinging to the cart handles. He opens his eyes to not look down, but to look up and ahead. Maybe it would help a little! Just pretend you're on the ground, justice!
... Oh god they were high. Not a good idea.
An even worse idea when they were about to rush down the tracks, cart tilting down to show him that amazing view. he's mumbling objection repeatedly, eyes shut tightly-
until the cart finally drops, and he begins to yell. ]

Before Larry can say anything else or try to help him in any way, the car zooms all the way down. Larry grips the bars tightly as they go, feeling the wind in his hair and his eyes and his...yeah, loads of wind.]
Just hold on to the bars! Whooooooooooooa! [But the adrenaline rush makes Larry let go of the bars to wave his hands in the air, screaming with utter exhilaration. He's enjoying this. A lot.]

HE WANTS TO GET OFF
the rush and wind wasn't bad, really ( save for how his hair will probably be a ness afterwards, even with gel on ); it was more so the height they dropped from, so . . . the worst has passed!
until there was another high drop up ahead, not as high as the first, but it was still high. Closing his eyes actually made him feel even dizzier, counting all those whiplashes and occasional flips- but he could take it! Just bracing himself and the cart for dear life.
and then things started to slow down. Apollo was stiff, breathing heavy but beginning to calm. okay. okay, it's over. they were in a tunnel and it was over. he could see the light!
. . . until there was another sudden drop that he really wasn't expecting, unable to avoid looking down, screaming even louder than the first time.
aren't you excited to see their snapshot ]

And YES I AM
Larry is just screaming his head off as they twist and turn and flip and whoosh all over the place. One might even say that he forgot that he learned that Apollo was afraid of heights momentarily. At least this time his hands are firmly on the bars and he's grinning like a maniac - well, grinning as much as one can while shouting to high heaven.]

did he deserve his worst fear a million miles per hour. did he.
Apollo continues to keep his eyes shut for the rest of the ride, trying hard not to scream anymore when they came upon a drop that made his heart leap and his stomach feel like it hit his throat. Finally, when the roller coaster cart finally jerked to a stop where they got on in the first place . . . his two hair "horns" drooped to the side, fingers were curled onto the handles tightly, so tightly that under those gloves, his palms were red and sweaty. When unbuckled, Apollo, for a few moments, didn't move, before shakily stumbling off the ride.
He felt sick. He thought he was going to die at least five times.
At least it was over. God, it was over.
they neared a booth- you know, the coaster snapshot booth on the way out? Something caught apollo's eye- and not in a good way!
