But, for some reason, he still kept her around.
So Nana had decided to make soup for Mister Raul. It would be warm and tasty. The only problem was that Nana had never made soup before. Thankfully, Miss Re-l was here to save the day (and the kitchen from impending doom) and so Nana had taken the pot off the stove and turned it off, waiting patiently for her to arrive.
The knock and voice meant she was here and Nana hurriedly ran to the door, almost tripping over her false limbs in the process. Unlocking it with a smile she stared up at the lady with pretty eyes.
"Hello!"

Re-l smiled down at her and bent a little so they were closer in height. "Hello, Nana. How are you? I brought what I promised." Four cans of Alphabet Soup were sitting in her bag and she held them up, walking inside with the girl and closing the door on her own. Sure, Raul didn't need that much, but in case she wanted to make more later...
"What did you do with the pot you had on the stove?"

And she was okay, really, if not a little bored. Practicing letters and reading and piano only went so far. After all, despite her height and physical looks, Nana really was only six and naturally, had the attention span of any six year old.
Nana was all smiles as she let her gaze wander to the bag.
"Ah, Nana poured the water in the sink and turned the stove off. The pot is in the sink, Miss Re-l."

Damn man shouldn't leave his "children" alone, after all. She grabbed one of the soup cans and read the directions, making sure it only needed more water after it was poured into the pot. She'd make two, just so everyone had enough, even if Pino didn't eat.
"Do you know how to use a can-opener?"
