Aah~ How long had it been since a Nightray had come to Break with a favour or a problem? The feeling was almost nostalgic! Almost --but not quite-- exciting.
Break paced backwards and forth over the heavily rugged floor. His sockless boots dragging a little with each step on account of Break removing the laces some time ago, before he arrived at the Port. He didn't like to be kept waiting, though he'd happily delay the lessons when Elliot finally turned up. Break had already polished his cane, set it across the couch beside his hat, that ragged old hat of his. Looking over his pocket watch, though the time was stuck at six o'clock, it was always tea time that way see, but still, he knew it was almost noon, the grandfather clock in the hall had already chimed at nine and it had been some good few hours since Break recalled hearing that.
Humming a little made up tune to himself as he rests his elbows upon the inside of the window ledge, watching like some love struck teenager, waiting for their lover to return home to them. All a big facade of course, it was just nice to surprise people with that loving, happy face when they meet Break ... that way it was so much sweeter when he broke down all walls of trust and respect.
" Aah~ Yoohoo~" There he was, coming along the path towards the door. Break waving a hand while tucking the other under his chin, waggling a finger, he'd even thought up a little song to sing Elliot, to help him remember today's lesson, seeing as how the boy was so fond of music.
