Alice isn't a loli, though! She's in her 20s!nurserabbitOctober 6 2010, 15:46:47 UTC
The weather wasn't so bad today, really, after working the night shift at Skye Medical, Alice thought it would be a good idea to take a little walk through the city. Reading up on information about animal anatomies while working hours as a very compassionate nurse did call for a breather once in a while. Although it was something the nurse did feel a little guilty about (since she could be doing more productive things), she kept in mind things that Brooke said that night a the Emporium.
There's an old saying that goes, before you remove the log from your neighbor's eye, remove the splinter from your own.So, here she was, walking down the street in the light of the afternoon, with a bag full of freshly-baked bread in one arm. Something caught her eye, though. There seemed to be a familiar face ahead of her

Dammit, I mixed her up with someone else again, fmllikesweinersOctober 6 2010, 20:31:18 UTC
Kia hadn't expected to see anyone familiar, though given how many newcomers there were it wasn't a huge surprise, and it took him a moment to remember where they'd spoken before. Oh right, when he was first confused about his new annoying ability. He had no idea how to control it and it seemed to be happening more and more often lately. Maybe if he hadn't noticed Ken's feelings as he left, he wouldn't be quite as confused about that entire mess in the first place.
But rather than worry about the things bouncing around in his head, he smiled innocently at her, even though that simple act made his cheek hurt. Kia hated facial injuries.
"I think so too...but I don't remember if I ever got your name," he admitted sheepishly. "I'm Kia."
He nodded and offered his hand. "Nice to meet you too. I'm still getting used to talking to people with the NVs. They're sorta weird - there's nothing like that at all where I'm from." Hell, touchtone phones were still a rarity for Kia, much less anything more complicated. "I like dealing with people in person."
