Most of the city confuses Fratley immensely, with sights and sounds he's never encountered the like of before, but this place almost feels like home. Almost. There's much more greenery than he's noticed in any of the other sectors, and despite the large amounts of farm work going on (most of it using implements he's utterly unfamiliar with) it's more... peaceful.

The knight's taking his sweet time ambling down the roads, narrowly dodging out of the way of passing vehicles. His NV trails after him, the stuffed Moogle keeping up a string of inane comments that the knight absently responds to.

Really, it's a pleasant day to be outside.

It was still strange to feel the sunlight on his skin. He rose to power in darkness and it wasn't until he had become one of Aizen's dear Espada that he found himself returning to the world of the light. The warmth was strangely not an unwelcoming feeling.

The one thing that was drastically different, was being seen. Before every day mortals and other beings were not able to see him. His appearance was hard ignore, very few if any besides the other Espada looked and dressed in such a fashion as him. Ignoring the looks was easy, controlling the urge to silence the whispers people made as he passed by was the hard part.

Sector Four was everything he had read about and as such nothing in particular struck his interest. That was until he came up behind Fratley and his small stuffed moogle. The creature was talking, could it possible be alive or was it just some elaborate piece of technology. He stared quietly as he walked a few paces behind the other.

This close, the Espada could probably hear the NV prattling along. "-- and starting tomorrow we're due for colder weather, kupo! Expect fog in the evening to early morning. Morning sirens at 6 AM and evening sirens at 9:30. Be sure to get inside before then, kupo, if you don't want to get eaten up!"

Apparently, a weather report. Fratley was only half-listening, however-- once the Moogle finished its spiel, the knight paused, looking over his shoulder at the man trailing behind him curiously.

"... Good morning?" he offered, tentatively. The other man wasn't as unusual as some of the other people Fratley had met before (really, a walking skeleton was hard to beat) but there wassomething unusual about someone in such pristine clothes walking around here. It seemed like they would get soiled easily.

The moment it started to report on the weather, with a message that he had read earlier on the NV system the mystery of what the moogle was vanished. Though by far the Quinta's NV had taken on the most disturbing of forms. His eyes were still on the Moogle when it's own spoke up.

He did not speak right away and it was only after he took a few steps forward that he spoke. His voice was detached, believe it or not greetings were not very typical between the Espada.

"Morning."

Sometime after dropping by Brooke's shop for a visit, this Beauty found herself wandering around the streets as well. Since she had been so transfixed by her surroundings on her way there, her walk back to the apartments was going just as sluggish.

Gawking at different stores with "HELP WANTED" signs--or even just stores in general with large display windows, she walked around n a sort of daze--a good sort of daze (as opposed to the psychotic kind). However, as she turned around from one window, she found herself bumping into the arm of the passing Espada. Giving a started laugh, she glanced nervously at the man.

"I'm sorry...!" she said, panicked. "I-I should have watched where I was going better, I know!"

The collision caught the Espada off guard as well. Up until now, he had avoided contact with anyone who walked near by. He was still used to being able to travel unseen and bothered by other humans. Ulquiorra was content to keep walking and not let the incident bother him, when the woman turned and begun to make a scene.

He turned suddenly at her words, a rather blank and unamused look on his pale face. She was being very loud, he looked around to see how many others in the streets of the market area had noticed. A few, enough so that he wouldn't be able to just ignore the situation as he wanted.

"Calm down, Woman." He ordered roughly.

Sarina frowned a little, drawing her vision away from the man's apathetic expression. However, it was not his reaction or even the way he barked out his words that caused her ashamed expression--it was her own shame over again having the completely wrong social reaction. Anchoring her gaze to the pavement of the sidewalk, she rubbed her fingers at her temples, trying to mask her silent frustration. She didn't even realize that there was bystanders giving her odd looks.

"I'm sorry," she muttered. It seemed like she was saying that a lot, though she knew, more than anyone that apologizing solved nothing...but it seemed like it was the socially acceptable thing to say. "You're...not hurt, are you?"

Of course a simple nudge wasn't going to hurt. However, maybe that was the more appropriate reaction.

His eyes narrowed, she was still apologizing. He supposed at least her volume was more acceptable than it was a moment ago.

"Of course not." He confirmed her own thoughts with another callous remark. It would seem they were both capable of poor reactions when it came to normal situations.

Sorry I meant to tag this earlier!! Sector 5, close to the amusement park, 12:20 pm acemedium September 23 2010, 06:58:13 UTC
Maya had actually been on her way home - but had somehow gotten lost and considerably sidetracked. Although she was still a little reluctant to go anywhere on her own - the sight of the amusement park had totally distracted her. She stopped a little to stare in awe - she'd never seen one that big - the only ones she'd ever seen were smaller carnivals.

Immediately enticed, her legs started walking towards it on their own. She was so excited she didn't even pay attention to anything else going on around her.

Ulquiorra was staring up at the Amusement Park, attempting to get a better idea of what was going on. There were lights, music, and large groups of people. For the most part people seemed to be enjoying themselves. Even though he heard the foot steps of Maya's approach he lingered, and like earlier it was inevitable that someone else was bound to collide with him. He was hardly a soft target, in fact he was cold and hard.

As she drew closer, she became even more tunnel-visioned and starry-eyed. If such a thing was even possible. Her eyes lit up before she collided.

"Wo-- Eeek!"

She stumbled back after the crash, losing her balance and falling. Whatever she'd hit was hard and cold - she almost thought it was a post or something until she noticed him. A... clown?

"S-Sorry! I didn't see you."

He didn't even seem to notice that Maya had collided with him at first. Ulquiorra attention lingered on the park and the people inside until she spoke up. His green eyes narrowed down on the young woman and then to the section of pure white clothing that had shifted inward from Maya's impact.

"Hrm. You should watch where you're going." He brushed a few fallen strands of dark hair off of his side, before he turned away from the happy scene all together.
