Who: Godot and Daedalus Yumeno When: August 10, evening, a few hours before sirens Where: Skye Medical Center Summary: Godot goes to the doctor to see about his "almost dead" problem. Warnings: Nada
Daedalus...liked consultation appointments and scheduled health exams. Routine check ups. He liked seeing the other newcomers too.
They were better than the unpredictable cases, the accidents that would roll in about an hour after the swing shift was out, after the sirens, a result of the first wave of people caught out in the dark. People...never seemed to learn the importance of keeping the curfew. It was always something- or an apartment's 'fail safe' proofing had been broken, or-
Romdeau had never had a 'clinic' so busy with terrible cases, which typically functioned more like a secondary trauma center than an outpatient office. But then...the worst Romdeau had ever faced was the occasional rampaging autoreiv...or Proxy.
But Daedalus wasn't working third shift tonight, thankfully, and would be headed home soon- just as soon as he'd seen his last patient

Godot nodded and stood up, perhaps a little bit shakily-- he was still tired from the walk over. "Evening, Doc," he said pleasantly, and put a hand down at the thermos at his side as he headed across the room.
"Can I offer you a cup of coffee for the trouble?"
Daedalus noticed that, the slight tremble in his limbs, and the moment of balance- a scrutinizing, silent mental note, watching him make his way across the room. Fatigue? Exertion.
He shook his head in polite decline at the offer, although the thought was intriguing- Godot considered himself a connoisseur, and the notion of sampling his tastes...curious.
But not on the clock.
"No thank you. They do give us breaks for that, after all." A small smile, and he ushered the man into a small room.
First the basics- vital signs, biometrics, a blood test to be shipped off to the lab, and then...
"So what can you tell me about your condition, about your past treatments and prescriptions?" Conversational- Dr. Yumeno was the antithesis of the intimidating sort of examiner.
Godot had granted Daedalus the courtesy of setting his coffee aside while he ran the physical, and sat with his fingers pressed against the gauze from the blood test
