The wolf would be coming in on Remus's right at a leisurely jog, not wanting to end up panting for a few minutes before they could start conversation. Gabu himself had no idea who to look for except for a human who had the look of waiting for someone to arrive. Would this werewolf have ears? Maybe a tail or claws? Gabu figured that he would just rely on his trusty nose, which eventually led him right to Remus.

He slowed down and walked up, head low with caution. He knew now how humans could get very nervous with seeing a large dark canine approach them at a quick pace. "Remus?" He asked, head tilted in question.

Remus looked like every other human, no special features to distinguish him save his scent. A familiar voice called his name and Remus turned to the direction it came from to spot the wolf he'd been waiting for. He wasn't nervous as the seemingly dangerous creature approached, instead he smiled warmly.

"Hello Gabu." He hefted his book which was starting to slip, making sure it stayed firmly in the crook of his arm. "Have you eaten lunch yet?"

He blinked at the friendly smile and stood still. Eventually he relaxed and sat down on his rear, tail soundlessly thumping the ground a little.

"Nice to meet you in person," He said in his gruff voice, ears flicking for other noises around him. "I'm not hungry, thanks. You?"
