A... hot shower? It usually works for me. It... relaxes your muscles, so. It should work. Especially if you're stressed.

Sure, thanks, I'll try that. But then I'll usually take any excuse to stand under the hot water longer.

There isn't anything wrong with hot showers.

( i just really hate that thing that you get when you stay in there for too long. your fingers turn into clammy-feeling prunes, and a whole fifty extra years is put into your skin in no less than a half hour. )

Agreed. Even if it does jack up the water bill.

Don't get an addiction.

Also, do I have to cook a lot of green food?

What?

Not too much. We're just addin' loaded baked potatoes and corned beef with cabbage to the menu. You think you'll be all right with that?

If you take too much of anything, you might get addicted to it. I'm just saying, 'be careful.' Are you sleeping enough?

[WESTERN FOODS. hhh.] I'll make sure to read plenty about them tonight. I'll make some for you tomorrow morning and you can see how it is, if that's okay.

--Oh, the Ibuprofen. No, I'll be all right. I stop takin' somethin' when it stops working. And yeah, sure. I'm gettin' enough.

Sounds good. You can always ask the older cooks for pointers, too. I know Terrance'll be on tomorrow, and he's worked St. Patty's a time or two before.

Ginger tea. Sometimes coffee helps a bit.

[he understands stress headaches. oh does he understand them]

I'm goin' to be full of tea by the time the damn headaches finally go away. [looking at the notepad he's been jotting down people's ideas on] That's ginger, green and black tea now. I didn't even know there were that many kinds.

Ginger helps with stomachaches too. But more tea doesn't hurt.

[he speaks again with a small twist of amusment to his voice]

I find a cup of hot sake helps sometimes, too.

Sake's good, I'll give you that - even if I'd prob'ly be shot back home for admitting it.

What's that? Why would'ja dye the beer green?

[Video] deservesabone March 17 2010, 01:09:42 UTC
Because green's the color of the holiday. Like in school, where if you weren't wearing green on St. Patty's Day you'd get pinched.

I take it you don't have St. Patty's Day where you're from.

You want me to scuttle over? I can make you some coffee, and get you some ice packs. Seriously, caffeine and ice on the head should help. But I can scuttle over, if ya want.

[smiles] That's real sweet of you. I'll be all right, though. A cold compress is a good idea though. I've got some frozen peas in the freezer I could use.

If you're sure... This doesn't go away, I am going to stop over and we'll see about getting you a doc.
