[It's night time and for once Midna is actually home and indoors. In lieu of her normal attire she is curled up on her couch in a pink fluffy robe with her hair undone. It's been awhile since her last broadcast so once the video starts recording she appears a bit thoughtful at first.]
Seems like things have finally settled down... [a pause] and to

But are you okay?

Uh.. yeah, tea sounds good.
[ Stepping further into her apartment, he lets his backpack slide from his shoulder, setting it down by his feet. ]

I'd give you the tour, but if you've seen any starter apartment you've seen them all.

Thanks. [ Contently breathing in the warmth for a second, he almost laughs. ] Yeah, i'm guessing it looks exactly like mine did. Actually think your place looks better than mine does now.

[It wasn't anything like the palace back home, but Midna had always been able to get by on her own. She always did pride herself on her ability to survive and keep moving forward, even if she had nothing in the way of material possessions.]

[ But after sipping at his tea for a half second -- and quietly appreciating the fact that it's green tea -- his eyes widen slightly. ] You had a palace? [ He's not actually completely surprised, though. Maybe only a little. ]

Before you start to be impressed it's not all as amazing as it sounds. Sure I had a whole lot of rooms to myself, servants to wait on me any time of the day, and advisers to advise me on any given subject. I also had the same people attempting to snatch the throne from under me at any given time.
[Her finger gives a little wave before she sits down on the couch.]
Don't even ask me about the feasts. They were always so boring. Everyone talking politics and talking behind each others backs. Someone always wanted something, and not a single one of them could dance.
[She sighs rather dramatically before leaning back into the couch. Despite her complaints she really did miss home. She finally motions for Peter to join her.]
You'd hate it. Trust me.

[ After getting her approval, though, he finally makes the few steps over to the couch and seats himself comfortably next to her, holding his mug close against himself so he doesn't spill. ] I dunno, I might hate it a little. Can't dance anyway, but i'd take the advisors. And the politics? That's not any different from home either, that was usual talk around the dinner table.

The last one who worked alongside my Mother before she passed away, eventually became the same one who placed that curse on me and stole my throne.
[She remains quiet for a second, before giving the subject a firm shake of her head in disapproval.]
You can have them all. I'm quite happy to see to my own affairs in the future.
[She reaches out across the table and the few vhs tapes that are piled to her own mug of tea and brings it up for a slow sip.]
Meal with your family sound as about as fun as my feasts.
[She can't help but laugh though.]
All this isn't so bad though.
[She motions around them as she speaks of the city. It was quite different, but not bad.]

Just like that made him cringe a little. ] ...Oh. Yeah, maybe i'll pass on the advisors, then. Sounded too good to be true. [ He sighed, shrugging casually. ] I don't know, I've had mixed experiences with seeing things in the future.
[ Following the motion of her hands, he looked around this place, breathing out an almost laugh. ] Takes some getting used to, but it's not all bad.

[Twice now he's managed to surprise her. Being able to see the future is a rare gift, not a single one of her people could, though many tried or claimed to have such a talent.]
So talented, Peter. [She chuckles.] Though I imagine it's strange ... to know what might happen ahead of time. [She pauses.] Does it take the fun out things?
[If he expected her to ask him for any details of her own future, he'd be mistaken. She wasn't the type of woman who enjoyed the idea of knowing the future.]

[ He almost laughs, shaking his head. But then he's fidgeting with the mug in his hands. ] I don't know if i'd really call any part of it fun. [ Stopping to think for another second, he has no idea how to explain any of this without spending an hour or more explaining everything. ]
It's useful, I guess. But it all depends what you do with the things you've seen.

[It's rather nice to be able to sit and talk and unlike most citizens of Siren's Port, she really does have all night. This was her time of day to be awake and functional, and having someone to keep her company like this was a treat.
Of course, she was also delaying the inevitable. Peter had come over for a reason, to look at her arm. If he was easily distracted it wasn't really her fault ... right?]
