Archers glove still on she brushed back some strands of hair form her face and smiled while looking down at the video. It sat a few feet away and was angled partly up.]If it's not one thing it's ( Read more... )

Skye Medical Centre is Newcomer friendly in terms of providing services and providing jobs.

Oh yes! I heard the director there is a very fair man. That's a good idea, listing the friendly hospitals.

He is indeed. I also think listing personnel may be wise - I'm Doctor Michael Xavier, and if a newcomer is in need of medical care and doesn't wish to do to the hospital, I am willing to make house calls. I know of a few others who are as well - having us listed for people to find may be helpful as well.

Or the lawyers who work Newcomer cases, and so on.

That's very kind of you Doctor Xavier, I'll have to see how others feel about being listed, but that's not a bad idea, really.

Che. What's wrong with asking? If you want to know something, then find out.

[So it is you, sir. There is a smile in her voice] Alright. Kurogane, right? How have you been? It's been almost a month again, right?

So you do remember being here before. Did you go somewhere else then come back? [Remembers Syaoran's talks on travel]

Have you been alright?

[someone he hadn't spoken to in a while. (it would be a good distraction, maybe.)]

Hello! Yes, I've been alright! You're self?

[Yes, a text form someone she hadn't spoke to in a while. Really, she needed to work harder at keeping contact with people.]

It's been fine, considering.

[considering--]

You haven't gotten caught up in anything lately, have you?

Oh no. I've been safe. Keeping busy and out of the way as best I can.

[Wow, You're Self was a cross of You're safe/Yourself?...go me]

[a small soft lil sigh and a smile in her voice] It's good to hear your voice. You've been all right?

I've been all right, and you?

You seem a little tired.

Good--ah, oh, no... I'm okay. Just not sleeping at night as well as I should, perhaps? Nothing bad though.

I was thinking about the exact same thing, actually.

Really? I talked to someone else a few weeks ago, about the idea. [Raul actually...] I got a bit busy, but I've been collecting bits of information here and there. I would love to work with a few people to get something going.

I think that's a great idea. What have you collected so far?

Nothing full or official yet but I've gathered up a lot of Greeter information about where we are, what's going on and a general feel about the place. I've compiled a small list of apartments that seem to be newcomer friendly and a short list of job locations that seem to be alright with us as well. Also places like Marlotte's, through I think I am missing a few locations. Someone else mentioned available doctors or medically inclined people who'd be willing to assist if someone is hurt, annnd... also mention of the newcomer fund, so people panic less at the end of their month. I'd want to talk to someone else on some of these but so far the information isn't too bad. I'm just hoping to find a bit more.
