[it's almost midnight, but the NV engages anyhow, in a dark place. the video scans wildly around for a few moments, the backlighting of the screen temporarily illuminating flashes of things - metal parts, tools, a cement floor stained with something dark. there's a vague sound of thumping and clanging in the background, though slightly muffled ( Read more... )

It happens to everyone with those apartments. Still, it would be nice to find another place.

For now I'm still at these apartments, but I've managed to find a job, so the next step would be looking for somewhere better. ...and preferably closer.

[He shrugs.]

But I guess I can appreciate that I've been given a place to stay at all, even if it is just for a month.
