There are four fundamental forces that govern everything. One - Gravity, which holds hold us to the planet and keeps things in obit. Two - Strong Nuclear Force which holds nuclei of atoms together. Three - Weak Nuclear Force which is what causes radioactive decay. And four - electromagnetism, which controls everything else.

To create a Lorentzian traversable wormhole, one must use negative mass cosmic strings to hole open both black hole - were you are departing from and what you are entering and white hole were you are arriving and what you are exiting. The negative mass cosmic strings, when connected to the two holes, form your worm hole. In order to create the holes, you must compress gravity to the point where time almost stops - the cosmic strings are what keeps you from being crushed by the gravity.

[Griffin is pretty hard to silence, but this about does the trick. He's been Jumping since he was five, but he's never had a clear definition of what exactly it is that he does. Learning that his Jumps can be compared to folding the world in half is a little mind-blowing. He knows he somehow makes these holes in the world, but having a decent explanation after all these years is partially comforting. Even if he still doesn't understand it completely.

So wrapped up in these thoughts, Griffin forgets to speak for almost a couple minutes. Finally, he remembers that he's supposed to be part of a conversation.]
