[Raul is currently at home, as can be seen from where he is resting on the couch. There are several papers around, some of them with crayon drawings on them, and others with small print. He looks rather harried.]Before anyone begins to ask, there are no more reservations at Lion's Gate for Valentine's Day. We've been booked completely for the last ( Read more... )

It's a stupid holiday.

Merlotte's might be a good place to begin once it's up and running. We can help business too.

I don't see the point to it. A holiday devoted to...what? Love?

[NPP Filter]

Is it safe? I don't think we need any nulls for the next time, but considering who will still be there...

To express it, it looks like. This place has a holiday for every damn thing a person can think of.

[NPP Filter]

We can get some if need be... Fratley and I can provide security.

Will we be celebrating the Ides of March, next?

[NPP Filter]

I need you involved with the meeting. We can have Fratley and others do security.

Mister Creed? You needed to speak?

Yes, I was wondering if I could get your advice and thoughts on a few things.

Most notably children and the political agenda.

Advice is generally free.

Given the topics do you prefer in person or over the Network?

In person, if that is fine with you.

Midweek would be preferable. I believe The Lux is still declared 'neutral' territory- is Lion's Gate no longer taking boardroom bookings?

Midweek seems the be the best.

It is, however there were certain things that I was made aware of after the meeting, and finding a new spot until we have an office to meet in would be beneficial to all involved.

Good. Hopefully I won't be tied up with other things- but it's just keeping an ear to the ground for open positions? What about appointed offices?

As for a campaign center, what about something for more general newcomer use, like a community center? That way taking rent for the space from the fund would be justified...and it's an idea that has been tossed around before- at one point there was an office leased near the diamond, wasn't there? Where they took second-hand clothing donations?

Both, actually, which is why we need to get on this now rather then later.

I remember hearing about it. But I think there needs to be both; a campaign center, as well as a community center. They are two different things, after all.

Wow. You're awfully energetic today. Wanna tell me why you've got a bee in your bonnet, Monsieur Creed?

[Damn if he was in the middle of lunch and he is so not even bothering to stop eating his sandwich when he replies.]

I'll put out the call for tech workers immediately and I can put an ad in the paper. I'm not actually going to hire anyone by tonight unless you expect me to grab people off the street and hope they're qualified.

[He takes a rather annoyed bite of his sandwich, continuing:]

And would you like the appointment for young mademoiselle to be made on a Saturday or Sunday or an afternoon after school?

[And he doesn't care if you're annoyed, Franz, you should be used to this by now.]

Place an ad in the paper, as well as put a call out. We may not need any by tonight, but before this holiday.

A Sunday would be best.

[Franz just works better in a bitchy froth.]

Yes sir.

I just put in the order for the flowers and the paperweight. You want those delivered to a particular location in the club?

[Go right ahead, but try not to get too bitchy. He's used to less emotions involved in work.]

One bouquet should go to the new receptionist, another to the main chef, as she has been complaining lately, two to the Newcomer media center for Ms. Rodriguez and Ms. Rochelle, and one to Ms. Ivy.

The paperweight can be sent to my home.

By the way, remember to send potted flowers for Ms. Ivy.
