[And that's why she's so damned attached to him (or part of the reason) -- he seemed to be the only one that understood. Most of her problems today stemmed from the regret she felt over that incident years ago. Though she strove to be "normal" now, there was still that scarier part of her that took an incomparable glee in battle.]
