There's usually some adult around to tell you what's up with this place. They might be a total dipstick but in general the stuff they tell you will be true. You'll be set up with an apartment where you can stay for a month before kicking you out.

If you need money, there's a fund that's set up for kids like us or people who showed up broke. Ask Mr. Miles Edgeworth about it, he's a really good person and he'll treat you well - even if he's really stiff-necked.

We're in British Columbia, on an island. You were brought here from your time and place by something called the Pull, which comes from the Core. Because of the Pull, no one can leave. You try to get off the island and you'll get super-sick and you could even die.
