[...Woah. Well, that was unexpected. Well done, Samus. You've stunned Snake.]

[Must be that cyborg suit. He recognizes parts of it from the scattered pieces of the replica that Otacon had left behind. The finished thing sure wasn't the same as Olga's. He clears his throat before answering to hide his surprise.]

That's some getup. So what's it do?

Just about anything I need it to really. Short of making tea in the morning. This is my Varia Suit, I've been training with it and using it all my life...when I came here it didn't come with me...except now. [She's thoughtful, but not overly so. Mostly she wanted a chance to show it off to Snake, one of the few people she feels any connection to.]

[Like calls to like, it seems. Being a bit of a recluse besides, he'd been a little surprised to hear from Samus. Unexpected, but...Not bad.]

Never been much for relying on gadgets, myself. But I can see where it might be useful.

[As for the suit, it is pretty damn impressive. And Snake can sure as hell appreciate a woman who seems like she can handle herself. But it's hard to share her enthusiasm. It can't help but remind him of what had happened to Gray Fox. Experimented on, fitted with cybernetics to bring him back to life and keep him that way, tortured and driven mad by it. But it hadn't been the same for Olga, despite appearances. Wasn't the same here, either. Couldn't be. Doesn't mean he still isn't a little distrustful of it.]

You sound pretty glad to have it back.

I'm a gadget girl. [She grins lopsidedly, hefting the cannon arm for emphasis.] It's not that I can't fight without it, but the Varia suit helps me deal with the unexpected. Like hard vacuum, or phazon radiation.

Oh I -am-. I grew up with this thing, it's a part of who I am now, part of my...family, what little of it there is. Being here for a year without it felt like I was missing something vital.
