Okay, I was told by the greeter outside that this was as good a way to get in touch with the rest of the city as anything.
I got the basics of the situation, we've all been magically pulled here by something called the "Core" and we can't leave. It's also apparently a year in my past, though that's the least of my problems, I guess.
I'm not looking for a reiteration of what I've been told, I'm just curious if anyone has a why. I like a surprise trip across the globe and into the past as much as the next girl but I was kind of in the middle of something important.
