I feel... like I just ran a really long marathon, haha. I think- for now, I'm ready to stop living all overwhelmed. I mean, not that something like that's easy in a place like this! Since a lot's been going on...

I don't know much about cooking. I can make sweet omelets, that's about it.

In Japan, we eat KFC and Christmas cake. You just buy it.

New Years is when the cooking gets serious.

Oh- Really? We never did do things like everyone else, but I know that most Italians are pretty... gung-ho about it... big time for feasting and things like that.

Most kids get their gifts at Epiphany time, and not really on Christmas, but Hilshire is - was - Hilshire's German. I guess my sense of tradition is a little skewed anyway.

You know, if you've got something you really like, I can learn to make it. I'm not bad with a stove or an oven, I just haven't taken a lot of time with recipes.

Well, how many are you feeding? I think you can make really good cheap food by just following simple recipes or getting creative with things you already have at home.

Just two! Where I come from, we're supposed to have some ridiculous amount of food, though... Still, somehow I'm not foreseeing that for this year. I can't really hold out for cenone and all, either, haha.
