Oh, stop. It's perfectly fine. You just don't like the cold.

If it continues to become this cold, I'm going to need a heavier coat.

[Personal day. Well. He's grateful there isn't any bitter network commentary to be had about tending to the company of the probationary Prince of Romdeau, at least.

So you have only a slightly glum resident doctor on your couch, who is in a good deal of disagreement with you over the snow. From the window, it's quite a marvel, first time around.]

[Glances over at Daedalus while he goes into the kitchen to start a pot of coffee.]

Coffee or tea, doctor?

Tea...please.

[He's looking less tired after nearly 48 hours in bed resting up, luckily, but that odd far-off look hasn't left him just yet. He's been cautiously well-behaved for most of the afternoon, preoccupied with files on his NV.]

It wasn't necessary to take the night off.

Yes it was. I have ducks in my bathtub, if you haven't noticed.

[Begins boiling water for the tea, getting out his collection of teas; not that there was a lot,m considering Daedalus was the only one who really drank tea. He preferred the coffee.]

[Guess who still likes snow? Guess who's perfectly willing to have an old argument all over again.]

There's nothing wrong with snow.

[Oh, bring it on. He's ready for some more useless snow stories.]

There's no point to it.

Do you still disagree on the point that precipitation is a necessary part of the water cycle? Barring that, does something like the weather need to have a point to it?

Inside of a dome, it is completely unnecessary. Here, I suppose it could be useful, though again, it is still not needed.

Of course, weather needs to have a point to it. Otherwise it's a useless system.
