[The skeleton then gives her an elaborate bow through the video feed]

[Her eyebrows lift at the sight of a skeleton, her first instinct being that this is some form of Hollow. But Hollows . . . aren't all bone. And most of them don't bow and speak to her as if they know her noble heritage. She blinks, but she shakes off the surprise and gets down to business.]

That something called the Core draws people with power away from their worlds and brings them here. And that there's no way to leave. Oh, and the guy prattled on about the "Darkness," too. Evidently, it gets pretty dangerous here at night.

[She pauses here, her brow furrowing slightly. She really has to know.] Exactly what the hell are you, anyway?

Do you also know of the starter apartments at the tower apartment complex. Free rent for a month for the newcomers of Siren's Port, and they are safe from the darkness, which would more accurately be described as the time when the monsters come crawling out of the wood works.

[She blinks again. That . . . doesn't really answer exactly what she asked.] All bards come with only bone and hair where you're from?

Seemed a pretty standard spiel. Things about people getting pulled from their own worlds, the "Darkness," temporary living arrangements, and all that. Might've gotten more out of the guy if he didn't avoid eye contact and start trailing off all the time.

Um... yeah. It's all true. During the night monsters come out... that's the "Darkness".

Maybe it was his first day?

[Compared to Brooke, she's kinda willing to take what she can get at the moment.

Can I take that to mean that Aizen is here? Unsurprisingly, Ichimaru isn't giving me a straight answer on that one.

Yeah, I've been told. About monsters, and the presence of certain people I wouldn't be thrilled to see.

And who would you be?

[Yes! They don't wear that boring black outfit when they're Arrancar! They can wear short goth-loli type dresses and that's just great!]

The monsters aren't scary. They're actually really, really cool! A lot of people think they're scary but I don't know why. The certain people ... would that be the big shinigami with spiky hair? Or the Arrancar? Because you should probably avoid most of them!

[Well, Yoruichi wouldn't be averse to that, though she's rather fond of her halter-top modification to the standard shinigami uniform.]

The big guy is an ally, such as it is. I doubt the arrancar would make my list of favourite people, but I'm more referring to the creeps in charge of them.

[Her voice takes on a flat tone, here. Suspicious Yoruichi is suspicious.] How about trying to finish that introduction properly?
