[The feed clicks on and a young man stares down at it, eyes unfocused and deadened. Blood is streaked across one of his cheeks as the camera jerks around; he's observing it from all sides. As the camera swivels the beheaded corpse of a creature can be seen briefly, as well as a blood-stained sword clutched tightly in the young man's hand

There are many of them, then? [Eyebrow raised, interest piqued.]

Yeah. A hell o' a lotta types, too, fifty o' so, maybe. You'll see em once it gets dark again, they come out every night, and disappear every mornin'.

[revengeisbitter]

Good. [He smiles again, looking a little bloodthirsty, and his pace quickens.]

Wait up! Where you headed?

To see if I can find more of them.

[cowboy_newsie]

Can you take a break for five minutes? I just got back from breakin' me arm, I don't wanna do it again. Come on, just-- come into a buildin' for ten minutes while I tell you the rest about this place.

[revengeisbitter]

[He stops, but just to give Jack an affronted sort of look.]

You want me to sit still? I did enough of that, Jack. You did too. Sit still and let them torture us, right? Not anymore. I've got everything back now.

[Looking away, he lifts his hand slightly, and lightning begins to flicker around it.]

I wanna not break me arm again, I didn't say nothin' about sittin' around.

[But he scowls, leaning against a wall as he watches Sasuke with some interest.]

What're you doin'?

[revengeisbitter]

You probably shouldn't be out here, then. You'll be killed.

[The lightning continues to flash around his hand, lighting up both of their faces.] I'm imagining sticking this through one of those doctors. Maybe a few orderlies, too.

[cowboy_newsie]

[He pushes his hair back away from his face, his eyes weary.]

You ain't the only one been imaginin' stuff like that, believe you me.

Then let's go. You can tell me everything later.

[cowboy_newsie]

[SCOWL but he lifts up off the wall.]

How are you? Physically?

[revengeisbitter]

I'm fine. I'm perfect. [He feels a bit nauseated, yes, but it's hardly worth acknowledging. Not when he feels the adrenaline pumping like this.]

[cowboy_newsie]

You wanna know anythin' else about the place?

Later. [He leaps up to walk along the rafters of a nearby building, and spots a monster around the corner.] There's one.
