[Her fingers are as gentle as they can be. And she pulls out an ace bandage from a pocket and begins winding it tight around his ribs.]
I'm gonna recommend you stay inside and try not to move very fast. And if anything starts hurting worse, get to a doc. Ribs aren't something you mess around with.

And I'm going to say don't go out at night for a long while. Take it easy. But then, I never listen to advice like that. So don't go out alone. Take back up with you. It's what I do.

I tend to forget that I'm one of the odder ones that goes out on purpose after dark. Well, me and my room mate. We go out just to see what trouble we can find. Makes us feel better after a bad day.

I've wanted to do that too. See what kind of monsters are out there - but more prepared, I suppose.

A couple of times. Bumps, bruises, twisted my shoulder pretty bad once. Thought I screwed up my knee once. I was really glad I found out I hadn't.
[Her work is efficient, neat, and as gentle as possible.]
Maybe, after you heal, you can come out with me. I don't mind going out and having fun and helping someone out at the same time.
