Twelfth Heart ☆ Sora ☆ [Video]

[It's a double dose of the "twins". And Sora always doesn't like it when I hiatus.  Sora's out on the beach, surprisingly absent of his little dog.  He knows it's turning dark - and that with the night comes Darkness but he doesn't seem worried.  Maybe he's even waiting for it.]

Okay, I'm looking for someone.  He goes by the name Laguna and he has ( Read more... )

Dakrness proofing really only involves enforcing structures so that the creatures outside can't breach the perimeter of a residence or business.

As for your second question, that's....probably difficult to sum in full.

There's gotta be something more that we can do. Something that keeps them out without boarding up windows and doors and well...every place should be strong enough to stand up to whatever might come like earthquakes and such.

A lot of religions seem difficult to me - but I like hearing about them.

There are...probably new systems in development all the time. The underground mall, for instance, in considered one of the greatest achievements of darkness proofing. Or Lions Gate Observatory's dome.

I have noticed that the mall is always really secure when I go to work there.

Is there anyway I could get that kind of darkness-proofing for my apartment?

Not a religion exactly, but I believe in the Spirits..and I believe in my friends. And of course I believe in myself.

Spirits? What kind of Spirits? I think believing in your friends and yourself is great.

The Spirits of the Moon and Ocean, Twi and La. They represent balance, and were the original waterbenders where I'm from.

That's pretty cool. Do you have Spirits for light and dark? Waterbenders? What's that?

I believe in God. Think he's been watchin' over me a lot lately.

Which God? I hear there's a lot of different Gods and religions.

Christian is a branch of Christianity, right? What makes them all different?

Darkness proofing isn't that hard. You keep the windows shut, and the blinds down.

You don't have enough ways to protect yourself from the darkness?

I want stronger defenses on my apartment.

Sure I do. For now.

Why, did the monsters break in on you?

key2destiny September 5 2010, 05:16:59 UTC
No. [But Sora sees issues popping up in the future.] But there are other people out there who aren't so good at protecting themselves from the monsters and I was wondering if there was something I could do to help. [It's part of the truth, he does want to help the less capable people.]

Oh! Uh, yeah, sorry about that! I've been trying to get a job, but it looks like the paper's just not hiring at the moment.

Well, if you've got the room to spare, sure! I mean, I don't wanna put anyone out or anythin', but I could definitely use the floorspace.

[Oh thank goodness. He was worried about Leon's not-dad.]

It's okay, just gotta be careful what with people disappearing and all. A job at the paper? You're a writer?

Lots of room to spare. You wouldn't be putting anyone out, I got a three bedroom apartment for a reason. No reason to take up floorspace though, the third bedroom has a bed. [He laughs.]

My apartment's is [insert address here] in Sector 4. Northeast end. It's actually a quick walk across the street to the beach. Stay as long as you need.

Oh and I hope you don't mind dogs, 'cuz I have a sheepdog puppy named Hikaru.

Used to be. Haven't had a chance to write articles in about fifteen years. I'd love to get back into it, but things aren't really working out right now.

Oh! Well, then, sure! Like I said, as long as you've got the room. And I'll get to paying you rent as soon as I can!

[Private]

All right, I think I can get there without a problem.

Nope! More of a cat person, myself, but not a single problem with dogs!

Maybe you could start with some kind of job at one of the schools teaching journalism? That way you could get back into the world of the paper and the big newspapers will see your dedication.

Not a problem at all. Whenever you can is fine.

[Private]

If you need help, just lemme know. I can fight the monsters off.

Great.
