[There's something steaming in the mug next to her elbow.  Her hair is damp, and she has a blanket wrapped around her shoulders.  She generally looks cold and miserable, dressed in business attire that is visible from about the waist up.  She has the NV propped up on her table.]

Does it every stop raining here?  This is worse than Konoha.

I don't know how far I'd trust the media. They seem pretty biased. I might have to go to the library next weekend and see what things were like a year ago. I'm sure they have newspapers going back that far.

They're obviously biased, but it's all I know. [small pause.] You're positive?

No, I'm not. This city isn't anything like the world I came from, but it can't hurt to try.

No, not sick. I got caught in the rain on the way home, though. And I've been sneezing a bit since I got here. This isn't exactly the desert.

Not everything in the world is solved with ramen. However, anything warm sounds good right about now. These apartments are freezing.
