Umm, can anyone from Earth tell me what kinda things happen between the early 1960s and 2010, especially in West Germany? I don't wanna spent forever digging through books to try and find what's the most important.

And if anyone wants a trained soldier for work, I'm looking. I don't have much else in the way of useful skills.

Umm. 1989, I think.

...damn. I would've expected it to last longer, given the fuckheads on the eastern side.

Um. I don't know much about West Germany, but I've been in various times between those two points in Japan. What sort of things are you looking for?

Anything big in the world, or anything you think is interesting. There's probably a lot, but libraries are boring.

Well, there have been a lot of wars, of course, but one of the Americans could probably tell you more about those. Japan wasn't really involved much, it took us a long time to recover from the US occupation.

There was a big oil crisis in... the 70s, I think, that really affected our economy and I think the rest of the world, too.

Um... maybe I should have paid more attention in history class...

Yeah, Germany's still recovering too. We get troops from four damn countries in Berlin right now. And it doesn't surprise me that there've been even more wars even after the last huge one.

I thought there was plenty of oil to go around?

[OOC: Funnily, one of his canon targets is an Arabian prince who controls oil fields.]

I've been to Germany recently.

[pauuuse.]

Well, if 2000 or so is still considered recent. I suppose you can ask and I'll answer what I can.

Someone else already told me the Berlin Wall came down, so how's the city doing now that it doesn't take permission to get from one part to the others?

It's quite the metropolitan area. Very populous, lots of different centers for sciences and arts. Popular location for movies.

Also has an exciting nightlife.

Yeah, the nightlife's always been active. I think it was one of the first things to rebuild after everything went to hell. People like their fun.
