Working as a clerk is very...interesting. I'm learning a lot more of the basic law and practices of it in Siren's Port then I ever expected to. The job is challenging and very rewarding at the same time. My thanks again, Mr. Edgeworth ( Read more... )

Of course. No, they were for you. I'll make sure to mark them next time so as to not be confused.

I, uh, haven't looked into a whole lot yet. Someone said something about working at the baseball field? Not really ideal, but its something I'd be the most familiar with. I guess. What did you find? Seems you're better at this getting a job - thing.

If you're familiar with something, then it's better to find a job in that field, whatever the case may be.

I am a clerk for the Prosecutor's office. It's taxing, but better then becoming someone's secretary, or work as a waitress. If you need help, I'm more than willing to help you find a job.

Re-l suggested I give boxing lessons, for you know self defense. Which makes sense, I just don't know who wants to learn from someone fresh out of high school. I don't know, probably being defeatist about the whole thing.

If you hear anything at all, that would be great Mitsuru. I've been checking the classifieds but its for waitresses or artists. And that's just not up my alley.

I think that's a good idea. But you know, you can always lie about your age. There's no real record here that lets them know you're just out of high school, and I've seen others who are much younger then us find jobs that wouldn't be a typical job. Have you tried finding any gyms?

Yes, I don't think you'd make a very good waitress. I'll check around some more, perhaps ask my boss.

Out of curiosity my lady, where did you learn to use the sword?

[Don't think she's forgotten. She's got an eye on him.]

Fencing lessons ever since I was young.

[Brooke already has forgotten since he asks ever lady he's seen that question... and he hasn't got an eye on her because he hasn't got any eyes. Yohohoho?]

Ah, you took fencing lessons? I do happen to have a foil or two I recently found in my attic. The last owner of my musical store was some sort of upper class type, so it does not surprise me that I found one, since that's often a hobby of richer individuals. If you like I could simply give it to you, although I think I'd be a little interested in testing your abilities. That is if you're game of course.

[Crazy skeleton man, I do love you very much.]

A spar in exchange for a foil? That sounds rather fun. I haven't had a chance to spar with anyone in awhile, but I believe I am still rather good. I'll agree to that.

You're welcome, Mr. Edgeworth. For a job such as this, I can only put my all into it.

Well. You can do rather less than that, as your coworkers demonstrate.

I'm sorry, Mr. Edgeworth, but putting in anything less is not something I am used to doing.
