[She didn't actually mean for this to be video, but she's having a bit of trouble with her NV.  The focus doesn't seem to be working quite right.  Seems that with all of the trouble with Kakashi missing, investigating the lake, and her promotion, Drifter has not gotten enough exercise.  She's dressed for work, but not wearing any shoes.  The chewed ( Read more... )

I can walk him for you. Well, as long as he's friendly to other dogs. I can take him out when I walk mine.

Does it gotta be around noon? Me and Hikaru go out at 8 then again at 5 to avoid the hot part of the day.

I usually take him for a run in the mornings right around sunrise, while I'm out training. Seems he needs a lot of exercise.

Yeah, I take Hikaru for runs on the beach in the morning and out into the city parks in the evening. The little guys got a lot of energy to burn off.

Well if you don't find anyone better for his schedule which I'm sure you will you can ask me. Name's Sora.

In which case I've probably seen you. I run a couple miles with Drifter each morning, but I might be out earlier than you.

Nice to meet you, Sora. I'm Temari.

Big dog, isn't he! How much compensation will you be offering for the pain and suffering incured by any who so dare to take charge of such a beast? Seems as if that would be important to mention, after such a forboding job offer.

Other than your arm sockets if you try to put a leash on him, there's no pain and suffering. Nice bartering technique, though.

Flat salary by the week, open to bids.

Fortunately I have myself a pair of very sturdy arms, but I doubt it'd pose much of a problem at that.

So--a hundred. I reckon that's not too steep a price for a working woman such as yourself.

I never use a leash with him, but I'm sure you'll manage.

If he's tired enough to just take a nap when he gets back, I'll even make it one hundred twenty. But I'm going to require information on you before you get near him.

There are, of course, professional dog-walking services within the city.

You know, a lot of services take one look at him and say no. I couldn't possibly understand why.

He does not seem so excessively large.

Something about lack of leash manners.

How did you end up with that kind of dog, Temari-san?

I'm a sucker for the ones that society wants gone.

He doesn't sound like a mean dog at all, at least.

[quiet, quiet laugh. sorry.]

What kind is he?

No, he's not mean at all. Very sweet, actually. Just . . . very big. With a lot of energy.

The vet said he looked like a wolfhound.

Too busy monster-hunting?

[geez that's a giant dog]

I don't think my boss would appreciate me calling him a monster, but that's a pretty accurate description of my job.
