[THIS IS SERIOUS BUSINESS AND HIS TONE REFLECTS THAT. SERIOUS. BUSINESS.] Let me rephrase that: my lack of a cake. And don't say you were busy or something came up; you're never busy.

The other night, I woke up late at night and went into my kitchen to see if I could find something to eat. The only food we had suitable for late night snacks were crackers and carrot sticks, which I'm sure you know does nothing for the stomach. This wouldn't be a problem if I had a red velvet cake to dig into for such occasions.

It's been a good three weeks since you promised me a homemade one. Care to explain why it isn't in my fridge?
