I'm curious as to whether or not this city has anything more than those sirens for security against the nightly creatures. There are those that work late hours, and some of the entertainment venues don't tend to open their doors until the early evening. I don't imagine that the number of people willing to risk their lives to visit such an ( Read more... )

We've a patrol that's active at night for any who might be caught out of doors. It's not intended as an escort service, however, so much as a safety net in desperate circumstances.

It's something, at least. Hopefully there aren't too many that are so careless.

We do not need to act very frequently, no.

Ah, so you're part of it, then?

You'd be surprised at how many people risk their lives for fun in the evening.

I'm sure, though I'm also certain the death toll for such instances wouldn't.

People are generally always safe, surprisingly. Some people are always out there, helping, watching.

Functioning as a city should then, despite the nature of the evenings.

No, plenty of people still go out. It's when most of the work is done, I'm afraid.

If it's significant, it's all the more reason to believe there would be a type of security in place for the evenings.

Quite a few people manage on their own.

Of course, I'm not implying the entire city is helpless, although I'm accustomed to ensuring the security of civilians.

[This broadcast is accompanied with laughing people and loud music.] Some businesses are open all night long, like the ones in the underground mall.

Interesting. I suppose people tend to stay in those areas if they find themselves unable to venture out.

Yeah, the underground mall seems to be safe from the monsters after hours. I've been here about a month and there hasn't been any reports of them getting down here.

A reliable structure, it seems.

There's security at the clubs. Top notch proofing in the Underground Mall, too. Some places, like Club 24, are open straight through the sirens, so you can stay as long as you'd like.

I've gone home through the dark plenty of times though. If you know how to get around past the monsters, it's not so tough. Some people get picked up by special escorts, bodyguards, stuff like that. Others brave it alone, and...some just stick around till dawn.

I see. I'm sure it's a relief to know areas like that exist, certainly, for those interested in evening activities.

It's a relief for me that I can have a second job, but...it would be pretty boring if we couldn't do anything but hang around at home after siren.
