Oh, so people really can read whatever I put in this funny little book!

Well, let's see... It's 2010 now, right? And it was 1978 last I checked, so, about 32 years. Give or take a few days.

Yes, I was told it was called an NV? But it just looks like an old book to me.

As much as I hate to be the bearer of bad news, I don't think you should count on returning in time for kitty's evening meal. Sometimes it feels like just yesterday that I arrived in the ball diamond, but I've been here for nearly half a year myself.

That's good to hear.

I suppose that's not entirely true. People do disappear from time to time and it's possible that they may have returned home. However, those of us who are stuck here have found no known method of escape.
