Get bored by jobs too easy?

Wish we had a radiator to fix in this place (or the air conditioning), but everything's working okay. I think there are still construction teams paying by the day to help out with fixing places up. The earthquake left a bunch of houses wrecked.

In a sense. Like I said, I'm just not cut out for most of them.

I've considered that. I imagine they won't be too picky for help, newcomer or otherwise, and any rebuilding effort takes a while to be fully realized. It's something to busy myself with, at the very least.

There's a bunch of work in reconstruction...I've seen building teams all around. Even just replacing windows.

Is there an age limit? You should think about signing up for it, too. I'm sure it's easier than your current job and pays more.

Boy, just what I needed. I'm impressed. How'd you know that Pendleton's my favorite bourbon, though. Ooooh. You wanted to share?

Bourbon! At least it's not French wine. Do you know French wine suppoooosedly tasted likes garbage? Not like I care much about the taste anyway, but bourbon really is the best. Oui, Monsieur Snake, why are you not celebrating with me.

...There's not much to celebrate, unless you think you're going on some kind of vacation.

I'm not much of a wine or bourbon connoisseur anyway. You, on the other hand, sound like you've had enough for one night.

There's something demeaning about making extra money?

You're talking about taking on odd jobs from whoever wants them done. I would call that demeaning.

It's an easy way to make money when I don't have any bounties or escorts lined up. I don't see anything wrong with it, unless you're trying to say that I'm too good for menial work.

If it turns out that I need to help with funding, too, I don't have any problem with that.

And, uh...

I don't know if that'll be necessary at this point in time. We're not that hard pressed for money, but I did overhear Big Boss talking about how he was going to arrange new jobs for us. Are bounties and escorts your thing?

...?

They can become my thing.

If you can- ...Maybe there's some shopping I should do on my own, too. If that's fine.

You sound like it's flexible for you. That's good. I think Big Boss is a better judge of what you are and aren't capable of, but all the same, I'd love to see whatever training you've had in action.

That's fine. Did you need anything special, or--?

I can go check out the university if we need a little extra income. I'm sure I can manage some kind of job there.
