GOOD AFTERNOON, SIREN'S PORT!
And it is a good morning! First of all, allow me to extend a fondest welcome to any newcomer that I have not yet had the opportunity to meet! Welcome to the great city of Siren's Port! But, in addition to greetings and new meetings, it it is not just any morning: it is a morning of Important Service Announcements! Have you ever wanted to be--A HERO?
Of course you have! Who hasn't? Being a hero is the fondest desire of everyone's heart, because there is nothing so noble and dashing and rewarding as being a hero! Doing heroic deeds! Rescuing poor innocent and helpless people! Riding a white horse bareback through the surf on a beach somewhere! Doing what's right! And you've probably said to yourself, "oh, if only I could do something good! If only I could be a hero! If only I could right the wrongs, fight the good fight, wear a suit of armor and not get helmet hair!" --Well, not everyone can do that last one, of course--you have to have extremely well-managed and groomed hair, like myself!
And you may say to yourself, "how! How! How can I do these things? How can I be this person, who everyone loves and respects and wants to talk to and spend time with, because he is just so heroic (and good-looking; but that goes without saying, of course!)? There is nothing heroic about me!"
BUT THERE IS! And that brings me to THE POINT!
Commoners have this thing called "blood drives"! Now, this is the first that I have ever heard of them, of course, but you probably know what they are! It's where you go to a little room, usually in a doctor's office or hospital, and they rub this yellow lotion on your arm and stare at it for a few minutes, and then they prick your arm with a needle and put a tube in you, and run that tube to a little bag, and put the bag on a see-saw, and rock it back and forth while blood goes down the tube! And when you're done, you get to see your blood sitting in a bag, and you get cookies and orange juice--from a carton!--and stickers! And it doesn't sound heroic, of course--BUT IT IS! Because, you see, the blood goes to help sick or injured people who have lost blood themselves!
What could be more heroic than giving your OWN BLOOD to someone? Very little! And since I have been spending a lot of time down at the hospital--entertaining children and reading to the elderly and talking to the nurses and keeping watch over Mori-senpai--I have overheard that there is a great need for blood!
SO! Today, I am declaring the very first:
GIVE AS MUCH BLOOD AS YOU CAN CHALLENGE!
Sponsored by me, Suou Tamaki!
It's very simple! You go to the hospital, and tell them you want to give blood, and then I will give you a reward! And this reward can be anything! It can be cookies! It can be a homemade meal, made by my dear daughter, Haruhi! It can be a date with me! It can be a private piano concert, also given by me, where I will play the loveliest music! It can be, er... Ah! It can be a package of commoner's ramen, or a compliment, or a single lovely rose! Whatever you feel is befitting to you as a hero! I expect to see everyone there! Good luck!
ADDENDUM! THE ONLY THING IT CANNOT BE IS A DATE OR ANY INTERACTION WITH MY DEAR DAUGHTER HARUHI!
Er, Kyouya.... That reminds me! I want to talk to you about your blood type specifically, so make sure you answer me!
ADDENDUM THE SECOND! My best friend Kyouya is donating an extremely rare blood type, so everyone should congratulate him on his sacrifice and achievement!
