You can count on it, Mr. Creed~. These r~ubes will soon enough witness a new era of theater. One that will leave them crying encore. Encore!

[He was going to use the 'knock them off their feet' idiom, but quickly realized that it was, perhaps, too soon.]

One can only hope so. Do let me know when opening night is, I'll be sure to reserve a seat.

[Just a little bit too soon. But someday, when the time is right. Beautiful, even.]

Count yourself to be among the first few who will know when the time comes. You won't be disappointed~ as it will be most magnificent.

[He'll bide his time until then.]

I shouldn't have been surprised but I was. Nice to see someone has faith in Newcomers. Thanks for letting us keep our jobs though... I've actually started... liking my work.

Congratulations, Mr. Cohen.

Thank you. A job should be something someone enjoys. I can barely fathom my own life without theatre or music...or the arts in general. I think it would have been a very dry and boring existence. Not unlike crinkled paper.

[Jinx is sitting on her hospital bed, actually upright for once. She's still bandaged, burned, and ill looking, but she seems to be in better spirits. She's holding the mask over her face and grinning.]

What do you think? Does it suit me? You know, cats hunt rabbits and eat them. It's the natural order of things.

[He fishes out his own mask from inside his tux coat and dons it. The cat and the hare.]

You and the mask compliment each other like a glass of fine wine; mysterious yet graceful. I cannot think of any other who could wear it as well as you do.

Even so, this old rabbit has a hat to duck into when predators are a-stalkin'.

[Besides, you wouldn't want to eat him. He's a sour old grape! Just ask his disciples.]

Jinx, yes, I'm not working with her personally but I'm well aware she's with us at Skye. I've been keeping an eye on the newcomers. She's in the oncology ward with other patients who suffered radiation exposure.

We are still taking donations- I don't think her treatment has called for a transfusion...

Do you know your type and any sub-classifications?

I do believe B blood type. I can't really say much else on that considering all the technical mumbo jumbo was left to the eggheads~--not that you're one yourself. You maaaay find my blood to be of use based on what else courses through my veins.

You'd have to look for yourself.

What else? [Oh, this bunch. Giving him more extraordinary food for thought daily.]

I will if you are able, Mister Cohen. Come to Skye Medical at your convenience.
