Man, seven kids at once?! How's that possible? That can't be natural! Was the mom half cat or something? Can you imagine all those kids wailing for food? Not to mention changing diapers, ugh. I pity those parents ( Read more... )

Seven kids is horrifying.

It is, right? Those poor parents must be living a real hell right now...

There's nothing more hellish than children, I know that much. I wonder how teachers or parents survive.

Well I wouldn't say hellish exactly...I've met some nice kids over my journeys. But yeah I wouldn't want to be in that father's shoes, suddenly with seven babies to raise.

Ick, that many brats in one bleedin' place? That poor woman. The father might want to keep his nads on lock down after all this trouble.

You can say that again. Man, how did that woman carry all those babies anyways? Must have been as a huge as a whale.

I can imagine that whales don't have anything on that lady if she was waddling about with seven brats in her.

It's times like this I am eternally grateful to be a man.

[he snorts at that] Man, me too. No matter what they say about pregnancy, that can't feel good at all.

Seven children... I can't even imagine.

I do have a place, yes. Thanks, Yuri. I bought a house with my brother about a week ago and moved out. Congratulations on your new job and all.

I work at the Major's Club, if you ever want to come by for a drink.

It's best not to, honestly.

Oh you have a brother here? Lucky, most people were brought here alone.

Heh expect me to take you up on that offer after a hard day of carrying lumber and nailing stuff together.

I wonder if that mystical stuff in the article is true. Seven years is a long time to wait.

I am very lucky. He and I haven't seen each other much since he was young.

I thought you might.

It sounds a bit suspicious. I mean, seven kids born to the seventh son of a seventh son? And they're al boys! Sounds pretty fishy. And about that kid bringing peace to the city...well I don't plan on waiting seven years to find out.

Really? Wow then it was coincidence he was brought here too?

Expect me as a regular.

Maybe she is part cat. I've... ran into someone with a tail and ears before. Who knows. Seven is a lot though. I couldn't handle it. I always thought twins seemed like a huge handful.

Woah you did? I've seen my share of weird but never a person with cat ears and tail...

Yeah, it's a wonder how seven kids fit inside a woman.

It is quite a feat in and of itself - seven at a time. I don't think I've come across such an phenomenon before.

Ah, how is the rent for your new place?

Me neither, man.

Oh it's fine I guess. It's unusual for me to be at a place long enough to rent anything so this is a first for me.

[A chuckle.]

Maa, if it's better than the free accommodation the city has provided, then I suppose that can pass as decent. Decent plumbing I hope?

Well, as good as you can expect in this kind of place. Still, I've stayed in worse places before.
