ATTENTION SIREN'S PORT.

Wonderful news! First of all, I AM GOING TO BE A PIRATE! Second of all, there are butterflies everywhere! I was waiting for the train this morning, and four butterflies landed on my hand, which I think is a sign of good luck. Not that I need any more luck, I am one hundred percent luck as it is! Except for this curse, of ( Read more... )

Perhaps we would be better served by going to a restaurant. As it were.

But homemade food is so much better! Especially homemade cakes! I have that on highest authority, you know! And eating a family dinner around the table is always more fun, very homey, very cozy, very nice!

Besides, Haruhi says that restaurants are too expensive.

That is true, perhaps, when the cakes are competently made. If they are not, then I do not believe the benefits of a "homemade" meal are so great.

But all homemade food tastes better! Even if it's terrible, as long as it's made with love, there is something beautiful and sweet and tasty about it! That's why commoner parents eat the breakfasts that their children make for them on their birthdays--love! Even if the toast is burned, the warm feeling of family will suffuse everything and make it better! So it HAS to be homemade!

Butterflies are really small. I don't think even a lot of them could carry a person.

Small things are often unexpectedly strong, you know! It's possible! And if they were enchanted with magic or something, then they could probably do whatever they wanted, including talk! Lifting up people would be nothing to an enchanted butterfly.

Ah, but it was only a movie, so it probably wasn't real! Unless.... No, that would be ridiculous! It's definitely not real!

Magic could probably do it. It would probably still take a bunch of them.

Are movies always about fake things? I've never seen one.

Tomato Cheesecake sounds so disgusting I don't even want to think about it. You have small white hairs in your hairbrush because you're getting old. And are butterflies really good luck?

Oh, no, let me assure you--it's not disgusting! It's a delicious savory dessert! I've had it plenty of times, and it is always delicious! You can try some, if you like--well, if there are any leftovers... and if I succeed in finding a recipe for it before 7:30 tonight!

They aren't my hairs! That's the strange thing! Also, I can't be getting old, because I'm only eighteen! Eighteen year olds don't have white hairs--especially not eighteen year olds with wonderful genes like mine!

And yes, they are good luck, especially if they land on you or fly around you! I think they're good for money... or is that ladybugs... Anyways, they're good luck!

Yeah, I'd rather not. If I'm going to make myself sick off anything, it's not going to be your rancid cheesecake.

They could be, Tamaki. I've seen people our age, even younger, get gray or white hairs, and sometimes go bald. Sometimes you can't tell by what your parents went through. The genes can be recessive.

...then maybe today would be a good day to wander around outside.

Ah, but you won't get sick! You have a king's guarantee on that, Miss Jinx! You should try it, how will you ever say that you've Absolutely Lived if you don't embrace every opportunity--including those of the edible variety!--that is presented to you, hm~?

No, that's impossible! Not my genes! They are flawless, just like me, and--and besides, I examined the hairs with a magnifying glass! They are very short, too short to be any of mine! It's just a Mystery, plain and simple and unsolvable!

Oh--do you need some luck? Ah, I know other ways to get some, too, if you'd like!

You have blond hair, right? Maybe it's just really light blond hair? Or maybe they're gray hairs.

[video] 1/3 daddydaioh May 12 2010, 20:18:06 UTC
No, it wasn't blond! I checked, I even found a magnifying glass and looked at it and it was white! And they were so short, shorter than any of my hair! It's just a mystery, Miss Utena, a complete and utter mystery! And it can't be gray hair, either, because I have very good genes--even my father doesn't have gray hair yet, and he's--
